Process, pricing, timelines, deliverables, usage rights — the things founders actually ask before a project starts.
- Four phases: Define (strategy and the idea), Draw (two or three considered directions, we commit to one), Build (the full system and its applications), and Hand off (guidelines, files, and a walkthrough). You’ll have a single point of contact — me — the whole way through.
- Projects are fixed-fee and scoped before we start. An Identity Sprint starts at $4k, a Full Identity System from $14k, and Brand + Web from $26k. The right number depends on scope, applications, and timeline — you’ll always get a written quote first, with no hourly surprises.
- An Identity Sprint runs 2–3 weeks; a Full Identity System 6–9 weeks; Brand + Web 10–14 weeks. Timelines depend on how quickly feedback comes back — the schedule is agreed up front and we hold to it.
- Editable source files (Figma / Illustrator), exported logo and asset packs in every format you’ll need, your type and colour system, and a guidelines document. Larger engagements include a full brand book and a handoff walkthrough for your team.
- You do. On final payment, full ownership and usage rights of the delivered identity transfer to you — no licensing tail, no per-use fees. The exception is any third-party typeface, which is licensed to you directly from its foundry (I’ll handle the selection and note the cost up front).
- Custom lettering and bespoke wordmarks I draw for you are yours outright. If a project uses a small bespoke typeface as a deliverable, ownership terms are agreed in the contract — typically a perpetual, exclusive licence to you.
- Each phase includes two structured rounds of refinement on the chosen direction. The process is built to converge — we agree the idea early so later rounds are polish, not pivots. Additional rounds are quoted simply if scope changes.
- Yes. I’ve run the studio remotely since 2017 across US and EU time zones. We work over a shared board, scheduled video reviews, and a clear weekly rhythm. Most clients say it’s more focused than in-person, not less.
- Not necessarily. The Identity Sprint exists exactly for founders who need a sharp, ownable mark to launch without the full system. We can always build the rest once you’ve got traction.
- This is a template, so the case studies, clients, awards, and testimonials shown are illustrative sample work created to demonstrate how a real Loud Quiet project would be presented.
